Can we say B-U-S-Y??

I don't even have time to go to the bathroom, let alone type this post! LOL

Maya finally has a tooth coming through on the bottom. She absolutely adores Ethan and thinks he is the funniest thing. They play great together, with the ocasional "be gentle" warning. Maya constantly laughs at him and he is constantly trying to make her laugh - too cute!

The other day we were driving home in the car and we saw a Police Officer who had stopped a car on the side of the road. Ethan asked "What's he doing?" I said, "Looks like he got a bad guy." He replied, "Oh, I need to help him. Let's go. I need go help him get bad guys." He then proceeded to sing his favorite TV show theme... Bad Boys Bad Boys Whatcha going do? Whatcha gonna do when they come for you?
I told him he had to wait until he was bigger. He then stretched way up in his car seat and put his hand on his forehead and said "See... I bigger. I bigger right here. I need go help him."
SOOOOO Funny and soooooo cute! He is a riot!

I know, I know

I know! I know! It has been awhile. It has been crazy as school has started back up and I have taken on additional duties in my district. It is hectic. The days go by too fast - not enough time to say I love you to everyone I need to - not enough time to cherish every morsel of my two beautiful kids or my best friend Matt. I have been reminded of just how precious life is. I am involved with quite a few message boards within the scrapbooking community and on Friday morning we received word that one of our friends had passed. She ws driving to work and a 22 year old girl ran a red light and crashed into her car. Our friend died on impact from head trauma. She left behind two young children and a world of people who are better for having known her - even if it was just online.

It was a wake up call - there so much stuff that goes on in our lives that doesn't mean a thing - and so many times we get bogged down in it and lose sight of what is really important - God, Family and making this world a better place.

I love God.
I love my husband.
I love my children - Ethan and Maya.
I love my family - mom, dad, sisters, grandparents, aunts, uncles, neices, cousins, etc.

I am blessed to have married my best friend and have two wonderful children with him. Ethan is the cutest, smartest and funniest little man - oh and stubborn. But I love him more than anything! Maya is the sweetest, most beautiful and happiest little girl - love snuggling with her and LOVE that smile.

I truly am a better person because of who God has blessed me with in my life! Now to only be able to say thank you enough and soak them all in!
